Fuel Pump Relay Location. While the exact position of the fuel pump relay can vary depending on what you drive, there are two common locations you should check. Those two locations are either: Underneath the hood of your vehicle by the firewall; or; Underneath the dash on the passenger side of your vehicle

There are 5 pins on the relay for the fuel pump. Look on the relay, and you will see each terminal of the relay is numbered. Using a volt meter with the key on, remove the relay and probe these terminals of the relay center: Pin 86- ground signal Pin 85- positive battery voltage Pin 87- positive battery voltage Pin 30- no signal.

Use ZTSE6009 adapter to attach a vacuum gauge to the fuel inlet. ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP OVERVIEW At key ON, the ECM closes the fuel pump relay (provides ground via pin C-76) and battery voltage is supplied to the pump. The pump will run for ten seconds (time varies with coolant temperature) and then shuts off. During the run time if the ECM does

I just installed a new fuel pump on my 90 BII 2.9l 4wd, and am still having fuel problems. I checked the inertia switch and it seems normal. Reset it, etc. I want to replace the fuel pump relay, and removed the fuse panel module to get to it. Located the green FPR, and disconnected the connector, but cannot get the relay body out of the black
B. Install External Fuel Pump Relay. Position the passenger seat fully forward. Open the battery access cover located under the passenger front seat and disconnect the negative battery cable (Figure 2). Remove and save the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) access cover. The fuel pressure test gauge should show 56-62 PSI and the engine should start if the previous relay was defective. Let's take a look at what your test results mean: CASE 1: The fuel pressure test gauge recorded 56-62 PSI after swapping the relay. This test result confirms that the fuel pump relay is defective and needs to be replaced.

Jayare. Today, I happend by the pull yard and low and behold a 92 400E was there and pretty much intact. All the control modules were there (read that a LH control module is now available to put on 93+ cars for the 15hp bump) Fuel pump relay is under the passenger rear seat cushion. The one I pulled today is "blue".
First off check your fuse in the fuse box, if it has power then check your fuel tank selector switch on your dash. Pull it out and put a test light to the plug while it is still connected to the wires.you should have six wires ( 3 on the one side and 3 on the other ) the two center wires are your feed wires to the switch. one is for the gauge
SM manual states on page for FUEL pump this. fact A separate fuel pump relay is no longer used. A circuit within the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module) is used to control the electric fuel pump located within the fuel pump module. The TIPM (1) is located in the engine compartment in front of the battery. so STrIKE 1, no relay.
